This is my fourth solar pump water fountain, and this is the best of all four. My favorite qualities are: the sensitive solar panel with its professional construction; stability and strength of pump floor-gripping suction cups; firm pvc tube that raises the fountain head high and straight; powerful pump; fewer fountain heads, but enough variety to place splashes everywhere, without splashing outside its basin. I highly recommend this pump which is chugging away in the red basin on this overcast day!

Exceeded expectations. I have already ordered a second one for another fountain.

I bought this pump for our outdoor fountain May 24, 2024. The pump quit on me Sept 15, 2024. The strength was perfect. We had it go through our 13 inch elephant and the spray would spray 12-16 inches through the spout. The battery backup also had it still going on cloudy afternoons. I'm trying to contact seller to buy another pump. I'm not sure if 4 months is the life span. I had the pump in a mesh bag. The filter was clean. There is not a way to replace the battery.

It's stops into night which is fine plenty of pressure..

I chose Poposoap solar fountain because it said the solar has a back up battery and it also has good ratings on other websites. When I received mine it was packaged beautifully, everything was secure and the small items were in little zip baggies. It is made of a good quality plastic and the panel is a very nice quality too. It was super easy to set up and once I plugged it in to the solar panel it started running immediately, BUT if I put my hand in front of the panel it would stop running, I figured it might need to be in the sun for a few days to "charge" but even after a few days it still was not running in a shadow. I contacted their customer service, which by the way they have several ways to contact them: Chat on their website, e-mail or call .... yes, you can call them AND they answer!! BONUS: I had to hang up while waiting for customer service due to a situation at home and THEY CALLED ME BACK (unheard of) I am so impressed with their customer service, they are really nice and professional. They instructed me what to do about my fountain not working (send some information via e-mail) and they always get back within 24 hrs. and stated they would be sending me a new solar pump, that these have a 1 year warranty on them .... again, I don't think any other company does that. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and their products to everyone - Kudos to you Poposoap for being such an amazing company! I will update with a video once I get my fountain up and running.

I have been running this system continually since I received about 2 months ago. I use it in a large fountain I maintain for birds. The pump moves water about 2.5 feet up to a container that overflows back into a large concrete bowl. The solar unit is flat on a small table by the fountain. It is often in partial shade from our trees, but never stops working during the day - passing clouds don't bother it either. It also runs for about an hour after the sun goes down. The filter works well and is easy to clean. So far, I have no complaints at all!

This is my second solar fountain pump as the first one quit after about 2 1/2 years. This one is a little smaller but works mightily. I love the back up battery as it keeps the fountain running during cloudy periods. Please note that it does not work at night. It doesn't matter, I'm not looking at the fountain at night, anyway. And it shuts off if the water level gets too low. Anyone who has a fountain knows that with regular use the fountain reservoir can get very low as wind will blow the cascading water away a little at a time. I normally fill it again when I water my flowers daily. But the shut off feature is great to have. Note...when I go on vacation I normally disconnect the power cord from the solar panel until I return. And the solar panel is much smaller than my old pump, a much more unobtrusive look in my garden. This was a good purchase at a great price.

This is a great solar pump for our birdbath. It is small enough to fit and leave enough room to add a few rocks for small birds to sit on. Even the suction cups worked holding the pump to the bottom of our glazed concrete bath dish. The pump works as described and the solar panel keeps it working all day. We even had a few day of heavy clouds but off and on sun and it worked perfectly. I'm so glad that we kept shopping until we found a large solar panel.

This was my second solar fountain as I had to return another brand when it couldn't raise water to 18". Got this and installed it quickly. It was a sunny day so I plugged in the pump and it took off. My fairy fountain looked great. The next 2 days were rainy so I didn't expect any flow. The sun returned on the 3rd day but the pump wouldn't run. Let it sit in full sun all day then plugged it back in after checking that it wasn't clogged. No luck.

Called their toll free line and spoke with someone immediately. They initiated a replacement and asked me to submit a short video showing it not working while in sun. Did that and received a replay within 24 hours (after I checked my junk folder). A new pump and panel arrived in 2 days and didn't have to send old one back. Plugged in the new pump, nothing. Changed out the panel and that fixed it. Up and running for about a week now even when cloudy and not much sun.

Love it and am impressed with customer service. Highly recommend.
