Gives a circular spray about 18-20" high. Great for a pond of 15 feet across. Not sure about the negative reviews. It's a solar powered pond fountain - of course it doesn't work in the shade! Just plug the cable into the panel and it goes.
I have a 500 gallon koi pond and works well. Moves water through the whole area and really adds to the look. Highly recommend.
