Surprisingly it works well. Wish the fountain was a bit taller but works for what I need it for. Had to place a brick in the pound for it to stick out of the water.

This is a very powerful fountain. For the momemt I have put it in a deep birdbath. Eventually, I will create a larger pond. The solar power panel is a good size and works great. It comes with a number of fountain accessories. I think it will work great on a bigger pond.

Drained and cleaned small 6 foot pond by 18” deep. Refilled with fresh water before installation. Pump worked for approximately 6 hours. Next day checked to see if it was still running and it was not. Pulled pump from pond and it was barely pumping water. Solar panel in full sun. Do not recommend purchasing this.

The housing opens with a couple of side latches for accessing the pump and maintenance. A solar panel attaches to the pump with electrical line that stretches a few feet. I may look into adding an extension line to install the solar panel in a sunnier location and placing the water feature in the shadows.There are a few options available for attachments coming off the water pump. One is a clear flexible tubing. There is about five feet of tubing that can be cut down shorter if desired and can transport water from a lower pool up an existing fountain or waterfall feature. Or, several attachments that fit together are included to connect directly to the pump that create a variety of spray patterns.This kit was very quick for me to set up and start using. I have a cattle mineral tub in use in the backyard filled with rain water that I've wanted to use with a pump and line with pavers to transform into a garden fountain. It too deep for the pumps attachments to sit above water, so I added a few bricks inside so the pump has a base to sit on. Solar panel and pump lines screw together for water resistant connection. Place the solar panel in the sun. I added a spray pattern water diffuser to the risers and placed on the pump before submerging it. The pump does not kick on until placed in water for motor protection if the fountain runs dry. Soon, I heard the trickle of water.Some considerations to keep in mind. The water pump appears large within its filter housing, however the pump itself is not that big and is intended for small ponds and fountains. Also, play around with the spray attachments. The instructions are not clear on how each performs, but it's fun to experiment to find what works best. Some may overspray outside the sides of a fountain and cause loss of water, so keep in mind how they work as well as how they look.
